Sewing supplies, services and school Rutland Sewing approached me to develop an identity for their new store in Oakham, Rutland.
Devised as a venue for all things sew, Lynne and the team were looking for a something a little crafty, a little feminine and a touch ‘Rutland’.
The solution was to create a roundel style logo, delivered in a variety of contemporary colours.
Central to the marque was a monograhic R that’s supported by the stores name and an acorn, one of the symbols of the county of Rutland. A needle and pair of scissors complete the logo and give it that crafty touch.
The logo is perfect for turning into a rubber stamp, allowing Lyne to quickly and affordably create other marketing artefacts from stamping store bags to creating business cards.
As the full logo is a little fussy, I developed a set of smaller logos which gradually simplify allowing the brand to remain strong even when the logo is used at very small sizes.

Sincerely enjoyed working with Kieran.
From start to finish we received nothing but professional and quality customer service. I never once had to chase anything up! The end product was a set of logos that we really love and that met the brief provided.
Kieran was not the cheapest designer out there but there is definitely a high level of quality and service, you get what you pay for!
I unreservedly recommend his services to anyone in need of a talented professional graphic designer! Thanks again Kieran, look forward to working with you again in future!

A logo could cost anywhere from nothing to a six-figure sum and over!
You’re not here to be given a huge ballpark figure, so, along with an idea to be more succinct and direct, logo design starts from £500.
