Logo, Monogram and Interior Mural for a family owned pub in popular Derbyshire town
The Project: As part of a complete refurbishment, the family team at The Spirit Vaults were looking for a brand that reflected their vision of a contemporary, welcoming, premium pub in the picturesque market town of Melbourne, Derbyshire.
The Solution: Returning the building to the name it originally held upon first become a licensed premises in the 1800’s. Centring around an SV monogram, I created a design that reflected this heritage that at the same time gave a modern, high-end perception of the business.
Local Enough to be Special, Special Enough to Journey too.
The team at The Spirit Vaults embraced the design solution and the SV monogram applying it across the bar, restaurant and B&B with wall murals including a bespoke “brewing process” design I created. The design appears above the bar, on fabrics in the rooms and even a coco coffee stencil.
On the exterior of the building, signage and the hanging pub sign also showcase the logo, the icing on the cake of the exception renovation the team completed.
