On Saturday once again we popped over to Lakeside Arts Centre in Nottingham. Each year around this time the venue runs a children’s performing arts festival named charmingly named the Wheee! festival.

Walking the other day in the Kedleston Hall with some of the family, we headed, not too far, to a tree atop a hill in a lamb filled field.

I like photoshpere images, they’re tricky to get right (and I’m still experimenting) but the results are great. And now Google has release an embedding widget, it’s easier to show them off.

Trying out the Photosphere feature of the Nexus 4 phone in Belper river gardens this weekend. I’m quite a fan of this little tool, although selecting a good place for a shot is key. Nothing too structural too close. The sunshine helped!

There’s both reputation and history riding on these adverts (Apple’s “Big Brother“ advert, aired only once on TV, is considered the all time best) and in recent years activity before the event has stepped up, with teasers and social media campaigns.

Well it has been a busy old August. I’d kinda scheduled in quite a quiet an frugal month in the BIG BUSINESS PLAN. But it was not to be and I’ve been really very busy.

As the tools and systems we use on the internet are getting increasingly powerful. Seen in many sectors, such as Google’s increasingly powerful online browser based office tools; Google Docs (about to become fully integrated into Google Drive). These tools allow you to open and edit Word files in your browser on any computer, tablet or smartphone, anywhere.

I often have fairly long chats with clients, breaking down the information they see on a search engine results page (SERP) on Google. helping them to understand what they see when they submit a search to Google.
I take it for granted these days that I understand what I see, but that’s because I’m in deep. It’s easy for me to start saying things like “you’re position 3 in the natural results” and spouting gibberish about keywords and Google places.
The work that you carried out for me was absolutely what I was looking for. From concept to completion and in particular what struck me the most was the fact that nothing was to much trouble to make sure I was happy with the end product which has certainly given my business the professional edge.
