Tom wanted a modern clean look for the site as a reflection of his profession and practice. In order to steer clear of cliches associated with the medical profession we choose to use images from around Derbyshire in the header space of the site, these images also represented the area Tom covered as a locum GP.
A number of technical aspects where developed for the site including a calendar plugin interfacing with Dr Lawes gmail calendar, a password secured area with Tom’s professional certificates, an email me contact form and an area of operation Google Map.
The strong blue of the site combined with the stark black and white imagery offers a bold modern look to the site. A friendly generously sized font offers visitors easy to read information easily and well designed forms clearly directs users.
With built in Search Engine Optimisation and On Page Optimisation, the site is set up to appear strongly within Google and other search engines.
Designed to work using modern code including HTML5 but fully backwards compatible to IE6, the site also re-formats itself for mobile web users, re-ordering the columns and altering the navigation to become finger friendly!

…we would like to thank you for all your hard work and patience in designing the new IPC website. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and people think it looks excellent.
So thank you.

When the ReST vulnerability hit the news, I was happy that my hosted websites were already safe.
At some point in the discussion of a new branding project, the client will almost always ask what files they expect to receive. At first, I found this an odd query, although perfectly valid, my assumption was alway that I’d supply every file they’d need, why would I design a logo and do anything less?
Lets cut to the chase, I’ll assume you’re reading this because are looking for a logo?
Good, because designing logos is what I do.
